Pedal beyond the ordinary as you immerse yourself in local life, weaving through the intricate waterways of the Mekong River and discovering the authentic charm of rural Vietnam and Cambodia.

Your experience begins in the energy of historic Saigon, then unfolds into the lush, peaceful landscapes of the Mekong Delta. Glide past rice fields, coconut groves, and floating villages before boarding a scenic speedboat upstream to Phnom Penh—a city where tradition meets vibrant modern life. From there, continue your cycling adventure toward the legendary temples of Siem Reap.

Traveling by bicycle opens doors to moments most travelers never see: warm welcomes in local homes, crossings on small ferries over narrow rivers, and rides through hidden hamlets untouched by mass tourism. Every kilometer brings a deeper connection to the land and its people.

Your journey culminates at the awe-inspiring Angkor—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s greatest cultural treasures. It’s the perfect, unforgettable finale to a truly enriching adventure.

The trip begins in Ho Chi Minh City. Kindly provide us with your flight details so we can arrange timely airport transfers for you.

If you arrive on the day before departure or early on the departure day, we will include a cycling excursion to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. Guests arriving on the departure day will join the group for dinner in the city.

At 7:30 AM, we depart from your hotel and transfer out of the city. Along the way, we cycle through peaceful rural hamlets, gaining insight into local life and passing vast rubber plantations, where you can observe workers harvesting natural latex. We will also visit a local home to learn the traditional process of making rice paper.

Upon arrival at the tunnels, we enjoy lunch at a charming riverside restaurant along the Saigon River. Afterward, we watch a documentary film about the tunnels during the Vietnam War. We then explore key features of the site, including hidden entrances, ingenious booby traps, underground bunkers, and ventilation systems, before venturing into the three levels of the tunnel network.

Tra Vinh is home to a large population of the Khmer Krom people—descendants of the ancient Khmer Empire, whose communities were shaped by centuries of political and historical change. Today, the Mekong Delta stands as one of their important homelands, offering a rich cultural landscape. This ride provides a unique opportunity to gain deeper insight into Khmer history and traditions.

We cycle along narrow village paths, passing simple thatched houses shaded by coconut palms and stretching across vast rice paddies. You’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in Khmer culture—meeting monks at temple grounds, observing women in conical hats working in the fields, and sampling fresh fruits and local snacks at bustling village markets.

After a relaxing lunch in a small town, we transfer to another starting point for an exciting afternoon ride. This section is particularly scenic, featuring crossings on small ferry boats through the Mekong’s intricate waterways. We then cycle along the lively riverbanks, through the lush countryside of Vinh Long Province, before finishing the day on the outskirts of Can Tho.
