Cu Chi Tunnels By Bicycle & Boat

7:00 Am. Ready to be met at the hotel’s lobby and be taken to the pier in District 1. After 45 minutes, enjoy the beautiful scenery along the riverbank. We get off the boat at the local ferry boat to start cycling. Our truck and bike mechanic with all bikes left Saigon city in the early morning. Unload the bikes and double-check all before you come here by boat. Each cycle has a tag name as your name on it. Just pick it up and start to explore the lush green area along the Saigon River. Then we ride through countryside farmland, water spinach, fish farming, and fruit orchards before a ferry crossing. We are stopping at the family business to learn how locals producing rice paper. After spending a short time experiencing the daily works of a local home, we continue cycling through a rubber plantation. You can see how hard people get latexes from rubber trees. There are many stops in the countryside to meet locals and enjoy cold water, snacks. We will reach the tunnels at noontime. After refreshment at Cu Chi, say bye-bye. Your truck driver and bike mechanic because there is no cycling in the afternoon. Watch a documentary film about Cu Chi tunnels and its people's life at the fighting tunnel before taking a tour through 3 levels of tunnels with your guide. Stop at the weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating the authentic Viet Cong tunnel system, visit different underground bunkers, hide the smoke kitchen, and finally shoot the range. Enjoy a delicious traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant by Saigon River. We will return to Saigon by air-conditioned van/minibus.
