A Cultural Ride from Hue to Hoi An

Take a walking tour to explore the Hue Citadel, we then have a quick transfer from Hue, we’ll pick up our bikes and head into the countryside to Thanh Toan Tile-Roofed Bridge, a historic landmark blending traditional Vietnamese design with subtle Japanese influence. We’ll pause for local coffee, chat with villagers, take photos, then continue cycling toward Thanh Lam Lagoon. The shaded paths and peaceful scenery—fishing villages, stilt houses, and calm waters—offer a refreshing escape from city life.

We’ll then cross the lagoon and ride along sandy coastal paths, enjoying sea views and a cool ocean breeze, before ending the ride at Vinh Hien village. From there, we transfer to Lang Co for a seafood lunch by the beach.

In the afternoon, we travel to Da Nang, stopping at the scenic Hai Van summit and visiting the Cham Museum, home to an impressive collection of Cham heritage. We’ll also visit a stone sculpture workshop where artisans craft marble and sandstone pieces.

Today’s journey takes us deep into central Vietnam’s cultural heart. We’ll set out to explore the sacred ruins of My Son Sanctuary, uncovering the rich legacy of the ancient Champa Kingdom. Here, you’ll enjoy a captivating traditional Cham dance performance, brought to life with vibrant costumes and music.

Leaving Hoi An, we’ll cross the Cam Kim Bridge and cycle into the peaceful countryside. Our ride covers approximately 35 km along quiet backroads, weaving through picturesque villages, rice paddies, and riverside paths. Along the way, you’ll gain an authentic glimpse into the daily rhythms of Vietnamese and Cham communities, with stretches alongside railways and tranquil waterways.

We then arrive at the lush jungle setting of My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient temples and towers. After time to explore, we’ll enjoy a well-earned lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to the pier.

In the afternoon, unwind on a scenic cruise along the Thu Bon River, drifting back toward Hoi An as the day gently comes to a close.

Your last day adventure will start at 8:00 and we'll start cycling through the lush countryside of Cam Thanh Village, pedaling along quiet lanes past shrimp ponds, duck farms, grazing buffalo, and vibrant vegetable plots—an authentic glimpse into rural Vietnamese life. Continue with a memorable ride to the water coconut palm forest, where you’ll hop into a traditional bamboo basket boat and glide through tranquil waterways—a truly immersive local experience. Back on your bike, follow peaceful village roads to Nam Thanh fishing village, soaking in coastal views and observing daily fishing activities. 

Then cycle onward to Tra Que Vegetable Village, famed for its fragrant herbs and organic farming traditions. Upon arrival, enjoy a warm welcome from local farmers. Take a leisurely walk through the gardens, interact with villagers, and learn about their sustainable practices. Join a hands-on cooking class using freshly picked ingredients, then savor the delicious dishes you’ve prepared. After this enriching farm-to-table experience, relax on a comfortable transfer back to your hotel. Tour ends.
