We will spend the first night in a real home-stay on An Binh Island during this bicycle tour.  On the second day, you’ll get to experience the iconic coconut plantations and beautiful villages of Ben Tre province.  Orchards, bonsai nurseries, Theravada temples  –  the action keeps on coming as this stunning and exciting part of Viet Nam unfolds to deliver up some of its charms. We’ll drop into some Khmer villages on our way to Can Tho City and also get to witness the colourful floating market of Cai Rang on our way back to Ho Chi Minh City.

This is a feature bike trip to the Mekong Delta, and you will experience a night at a local home. You will immerse yourself in the family culture and how the family arrange everything during your stay. Tasty meals cooked with firewood without modern kitchen cabinets. Join the family to cook your dinner and taste how delicious the meal you cooked!

You will be picked up at 7:30 am for a vehicle transfer to the outskirts of My Tho by the Mekong River. We take a ferry to the islands to experience as many of these beautiful islands which locals travel on for daily work. Take your ride easy through islands, bike alongside the Mekong River, enjoy beautiful landscapes, see a typical farmer working in farmland.
Do remember! There is no bridge linking island to island, but it is the opportunity you enjoy yourself and have fun. We reach Cai Be township around 12.00. Enjoy delicious local dishes at a well-known local restaurant After lunch, and we take a boat trip along the scenic waterways. Visit some workshops, board a sampan, and paddle a beautiful creek through Tan Phong Island before boarding a motorboat cross the large Mekong River to Dong Phu. It's a man-made canal to make a short route through the island, so it very busy with types of smaller boats and larger boats moving from two directions.  Welcome by your host and check in the homestay.

On the last day of the tour, board a motorboat to see the lively floating market. There are many wholesale boats hung type of products they want to sell to smaller boats. Smaller boats are local dealers that come to buy from wholesale boats and sell them back to land markets or locally. Locals come every morning to buy and sell just about anything you can imagine – freshly harvested fruit and vegetables, noodle soup, broken rice, and coffee can be offered here.  Another little sampan with the long-tailed engine that are grocery boats and floating houses around you. After a wander around the market on land, we’ll disembark from the boat and hit the path to explore some of the hidden charms of the Phong Dien countryside (prepare to be amazed again!) We will have lunch before driving back to Ho Chi Minh. Tour Ends!
