Cycling Adventures: Saigon- Central Highlands- Hoi An

Be picked up from your hotel at 7:30 a.m. to avoid the heavy traffic for a comfortable three-hour transfer to Dong Nai, the gateway to a journey through stunning landscapes stretching from the lowlands to the highlands.

Upon arrival in the rural village of Da Hoai, we check our bikes and begin riding along smooth paved roads that gently undulate through rustic countryside, winding hillsides, and scenic valleys, with lunch en route at a local cafe. As the roads narrow and gradually climb, the scenery becomes increasingly spectacular, with more forested landscapes and breathtaking panoramic views.

The terrain is varied and rolling, following a sleepy river through lush farmland, coffee and tea plantations, and peaceful countryside dotted with vast hillsides and the tranquil Ho Ngoc Lake. Continue riding across expansive orchards and tea plantations toward the outskirts of Bao Loc, followed by a short transfer to your hotel in town.

After 25 km on well-paved roads, we continue along charming countryside paths, including a few rustic dirt sections, cycling past lush tea plantations, tropical banana farms, and peaceful rural villages on the way to the magnificent Elephant Waterfalls and a vibrant, colorful local pagoda. Following the visit, we ride along gently undulating roads through vast coffee plantations to Road 27 in Lam Ha, where we enjoy a comfortable 3-hour vehicle transfer to Lak Lake, with a delicious lunch served en route. Upon arrival, we'll have a canoe ride to Lak Tented Camp Resort.

After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll enjoy a peaceful canoe ride back to the dock, where your luggage will be loaded onto our support vehicles before we collect our bikes and begin the morning ride toward Ban Me Thuot. Cycling past the charming Jun and Lieng villages along the tranquil lakeshore, you’ll witness M’Nong villagers skillfully fishing from small wooden boats on the shimmering lake.

We’ll stop at another ethnic minority village, where the friendly locals make their living through fishing and raising cows, ducks, and buffalo. After crossing a river on a small rustic ferry, the ride continues through scenic rice paddies, tiny rural hamlets, and lush green pepper plantations. Today’s route features a rewarding mix of dirt tracks, winding trails, and paved roads with a few gentle rolling hills.

We’ll finish today’s ride just outside Ban Me Thuot City and transfer into the city for a delicious local lunch. In the afternoon, visit the fascinating Trung Nguyen Coffee Museum before a comfortable 3.5-hour shuttle drive to Pleiku.

Today is a relaxing day to unwind by the pools, soak in the tranquil atmosphere of the Mang Den forest, and explore the charming little town or the nearby highlights at your own pace by bicycle. 

You will be met at the hotel at 5:30 pm for dinner

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy some shopping in the charming town of Hoi An. Take time to wander through its narrow streets and explore historic sites before a vehicle transfer to Da Nang Airport. Tour ends.
