This cycling adventure is designed for riders who are confident on a bike, physically fit, and eager to take on challenging mountain terrain. The journey features several demanding days along quiet country back roads and across spectacular mountain passes, offering breathtaking views of winding hills and remote village life.

Along the way, you’ll have meaningful opportunities to experience the cultures of ethnic tribes and local communities in Vietnam’s highland regions before descending toward the stunning coastline. In the following days toward Hoi An, the ride becomes more moderate, allowing you to relax and enjoy scenic fishing villages and beautiful beaches at a comfortable pace.

You will be warmly welcomed at Tan Son Nhat Airport and transferred to the center of Saigon for hotel check-in. Afterward, enjoy some free time to explore this vibrant and dynamic city at your own pace. In the evening, join a group dinner where you’ll have the chance to meet fellow travelers on the same journey.

As Vietnam’s primary economic hub, Ho Chi Minh City is also an emerging international destination. Its rich history is reflected in its architecture, with strong French influences visible throughout the city. Today, it stands as the country’s largest business and financial center, continuously evolving with modern developments, including plans for new airports and urban areas.

We depart from Saigon early in the morning to avoid traffic, ensuring a refreshing and enjoyable start to our cycling adventure in the cool air. The ride begins in the rural district of Trang Bom, where we follow quiet back roads through tapioca fields, rubber plantations, and small villages, eventually reaching Tri An Lake. This hidden gem is a favorite weekend escape for local cyclists.

Continuing along a scenic route, we pass lush green pepper plantations before concluding the morning ride at Doc Mo. We then stop for lunch at La Nga Bridge before taking a one-hour shuttle transfer to Ta Lai village.

In the afternoon, we explore Ta Lai village and visit the traditional longhouse of the local ethnic community, known as the Rong House. From there, we cycle along forest trails through tropical landscapes, passing vibrant rice paddies and riding alongside the river at times. Along the way, there are opportunities to photograph giant trees and spot a variety of birdlife as we make our way to the park headquarters.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting off to tackle some spectacular hills along scenic back roads. You’ll cycle through vast plantations of coffee, tea, and green chili peppers, as well as pass through traditional ethnic villages.

Today’s journey is divided into two cycling sections. We begin with a vehicle transfer to the countryside of Buon Ho, where the morning ride starts. Expect a bit of dirt along the way, as many routes follow cycling paths and trails leading to remote villages. The morning ride covers approximately 40 km and includes some challenging hills—but don’t worry, support vehicles will always be nearby to assist you.

In the afternoon, enjoy a more relaxed 25 km ride along gentle, rolling terrain. You’ll pass small local markets and red-soil farmlands, where avocados and bananas are grown in abundance.

This is a wonderful day filled with opportunities to fully immerse yourself in the local landscapes and culture. The rest of the day is shuttle to Kon Tum in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, we visit one of the town’s highlights—the charming Wooden Church, built by French missionaries in 1913 and beautifully restored in the 1990s. Afterwards, a short transfer takes us to the outskirts of the city to begin our ride.

Today’s 35 km journey follows quiet, off-the-beaten-track paths on a half-day ride to the peaceful town of Mang Den (also known as Kon Plong by local ethnic communities). We cycle through lush farmlands and traditional villages, passing small wooden houses set along a gentle, sleepy river. Along the way, we visit local communities, gain insight into traditional agriculture, and learn about the rich culture of the region’s ethnic groups.

Upon arrival, we check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the small town on your own, followed by dinner and an early night’s rest in preparation for another fantastic day ahead.

Enjoy an early breakfast before beginning a one-hour transfer to Violac Peak. Take in the stunning mountain landscapes, with sweeping views over the plateau and vast farmlands below, before hopping on your bikes. Ride 30 km downhill, followed by 10 km along gently undulating roads toward Ba To District, with breathtaking views of the Violac Pass along the way.

Visit the Ba To Museum, which showcases the culture, customs, and agricultural tools of the Hre and other ethnic groups, as well as exhibits on modern Vietnamese history.

Enjoy lunch in town before preparing for an exciting afternoon ride. Continue along the main road for about 7 km, then turn onto a rural path, crossing the river into the countryside. After several days immersed in the Central Highlands and the Truong Son mountain range, we are ready for a final, unforgettable day exploring stunning coastal routes.

The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with a one-hour vehicle transfer north of Quang Ngai. Upon arriving at a rural village, we pick up our bikes and set off along quiet back roads, passing through small towns and lush rice fields. We follow concrete paths that wind through vibrant villages, schools, and kindergartens, eventually reaching a lively fishing village.

Along the way, we take ferry crossings from the mainland to the peninsula, where you’ll see colorful wooden boats and experience local river life. Most residents here rely on fishing and seafood farming for their livelihoods.

Enjoy a relaxed ride at your own pace as the rivers and their branches reveal beautiful scenes of bamboo boats, wooden vessels, and peaceful fishing communities. Lunch will be served en route at a local beach.

In the afternoon, we spend more time exploring verdant farmland and rice paddies, with less focus on the coastal fishing routes. This is also a wonderful opportunity to observe traditional, unmodernized villages—featuring thatched houses, water buffalo in the fields, bamboo bridges, and remote rural life.

There will be several stops at historical sites and colorful pagodas along the way. We conclude the cycling portion at Cua Dai Bridge before a short transfer to Hoi An.
