3:
Can Tho- Vinh Long- HCM
25 km
Can Tho is known as the capital of Vietnam’s Mekong Delta. It attracts many tourists year-round, largely due to the nearby Cai Rang Floating Market. The shops and stalls at this market are boats of various sizes. Although it operates all day, it is busiest from sunrise until about 9 a.m. Most of the goods sold are farm products and local specialties from the surrounding areas.
Each boat has a long upright pole at its bow, from which samples of the goods for sale are hung on bamboo sticks, making it easy for buyers to see what is available.
Before your cycling tour, you will take a boat ride to the floating market. Afterwards, a short transfer will take you to Binh Minh, where you will begin a half-day ride. You will explore several islands by bicycle and small ferry boats, then continue cycling to Vinh Long. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before a transfer to Ho Chi Minh City.
At Vietnamcycling we can tailor-make your adventure exactly how you want it. Whether it is tweaking an existing itinerary, booking a standard tour on a different date, or creating your own unique one! With over a decade of experience in developing tours you can be assured that every element of your tour will be carefully personalized to your wishes, needs and budgets.
