Day trip cycling to Cu Chi tunnel

Cu Chi is 65 km northwest of Saigon. The tunnel network of Cu Chi became legendary in the war. It has three levels and stretched over 250km. This excursion trip combines the best cycling routes and spending a great time learning more about the war and the resilience of the Vietnamese. Depart from Saigon: 7:30 am by vehicle with a transfer you to the outskirt of HCM. The ride will begin in rural villages. We start cycling on the country back road through tiny villages before a ferry crossing. We cycle on dirt tracks along the river, pedal through a rubber plantation, fruit gardens, rice paddy fields, and hamlets that homemade rice paper. We continue cycling on the countryside road to a restaurant for lunch before we spend an hour explore Cu Chi tunnel. We will stop at the cricket farm of local and taste some fried crickets wrapped in a spring roll. Just eat it like a local snack during the farm visit. It’s an opportunity to experience the local business of cricket farm. We return to Saigon by vehicle in the afternoon.
