Cycling 5D/ 4N HUE to NHA TRANG

From the hotel, we cycle across the bridge to Cam Kim Island, leaving the lanterns town of Hoi An behind. Then we turn on lovely little lanes mixed of concrete and dirt tracks, wind your ride along the paths to authentic villages, experience entirely villager life, enjoy views of undeveloped rural villages scenery, see thatch houses, buffaloes on rice fields, bamboo bridges, and remote hamlets. Stopping along small markets and local homes making fishing nets on country roads, through villages along the small rivers where we will stop and see how locals do their business. Meet and chat with the friendly and welcoming locals at their homes. There will be many stops at historical sites and colorful pagodas.

We have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our fabulous ride through the farmlands. The road is natural countryside, lush farmlands—an excellent opportunity to see many unspoiled villages on your cycling routes. Ride along a small river and then follow the minor road to the Sea mouth, take a ferry to Tam Hai Island, then the second ferry to the mainland, and continue to experience local life through rustic villages to Binh Dong, check in the hotel.

After a leisurely breakfast, we commence today's ride with a short transfer to rural villages; we ride on back roads to Saky fishing port, take a local ferry boat to a small peninsula, experience the colorful fishing villages, and follow the coastal route to My Lai villages. After the visit, we cross the Tra Khuc River to the beautiful lush farmlands and scenic countryside, seeing the farmers harvesting rice crops and peaceful towns along the way—lunch en route. We explore backwaters, and the area offers incredible views through the river network and stunning scenery along old villages with lined bamboo trees. The varied bike routes also take you through nostalgic villages, ancient temples, and pagodas across the lovely countryside, experience the culture, see the farmers harvesting rice crops, and see tranquil towns. Visit a traditional pagoda, and pass by salt fields. There are many non-tourist areas and natural countryside to explore, past many small local markets, little towns, and lush farmlands. and we continue the lovey ride toward Sa Huynh.

Wake up early, enjoy the sunrise, taste Vietnamese coffee by the beach, and set off at 8:00 am for a short transfer to tranquil rural. We cycle through Tam Quan town and cross through lush green villages with thousands of coconut trees. The routes are fantastic for immersing us in both peaceful and spectacular scenery! Great chance to combine some of the best cycling routes in Vietnam's central coast with time to explore stunning local beaches, foothill farms, tiny villages, forests, mountains, and hills challenges.

Take this opportunity to bike on a single track and ride intensely to many small removed hamlets and fishing villages. After lunch in the local seafood restaurant, we ride past salt fields, wild lagoons, natural lakes, and white dunes before we embark on the undulating coast route alongside a sea lake and lagoon. Check-in at the hotel, enjoy swimming and relax on the beach.

The morning cycle begins with an hour of vehicle transfer on the coastal road to Xuan Tho, near Song Cau market, for the morning mountain biking - 35 km. The roads are small paved, passing lush fields and country farms, then undulate through mountains, jungles, rolling small hills, and then go along the sleepy River to La Hai. Enjoy a snack and fresh fruits, and look over the French colonial railways running north to south. Next, we turn left and ride down the tarmac road. The road parallels the river and train line. We undulate the road and ride more down than up to Chi Thanh, where is your lunch setting.

The afternoon ride is from Chi Thanh; we follow the country road, through lush farmlands and peaceful rivers, and make an agriculture Dam. We continue to enjoy the ride on the gentle roads through eucalyptus, tiny town, and rice paddy fields to Da Dia reef. Ganh Da Dia is a natural rock reef - a geological wonder of interlocking basalt rocks. The area is about 100 meters wide and 250 meters long, with an estimated 35,000 columns of basalt rocks. The stones are in different sizes and shapes - some are round, and some have sharp angles forming polygons.

Then we return on the bikes and ride to a local beach nearby to enjoy coffee, get some fresh fruits, and bike on narrow paths to fishing hamlets. View the coastal countryside scene, looking over a hundred floating fish farms, and we will explore the O Loan lagoon with brackish water all year round, locals farm many oysters, shrimp, seaweed, scallops, and so on. A lagoon is also an excellent place for storks and birds to hunt for food. We'll end up the ride in Tuy Hoa town and had a transfer to Nha Trang in the late afternoon.
