The journey begins in Sapa, a popular trekking hub known for its terraced rice fields, Fansipan peak, and vibrant Hmong and Dao cultures. Further west lies Lai Chau, an off-the-beaten-path province marked by karst mountains, valleys, and over 20 ethnic groups.
Muong Lay, a quiet riverside town framed by mountains and water, offers scenic beauty and local Thai traditions. The journey ends in Dienn Bien Phu, a historically significant town where the pivotal 1954 battle against French forces took place. Today, it blends war history with cultural richness and serves as a gateway to Laos.
