Cycling Ho Chi Minh - Ben Tre - Tra Vinh

Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you about 1. hour to Long An province. Begin cycling on the first day from Tan An Town (Long An province) to Tien Giang Province. Pedal through villages set amongst picturesque rice fields and vegetable plantations. During our bike ride, we'll stop along the way to visit some local workshops making cowboy hats etc.
Break for lunch in My Tho City. Following lunch, we'll transfer through bustling towns My Tho and Ben Tre to Mo Cay rural Dist. Continue the ride through water palms, across many small rivers, narrow bridges, and rest for your legs on the ferry to Tra Vinh.

Tra Vinh - Tieu Can - Binh Minh - Can Tho

In the morning, we explore and experience the daily life of Khmer Ethnic and cultures. The Khmer community are strong and setting closed to Khmer temples. We ride the open rural paths, cross rice fields to Khmer hamlets. Stop at the Theravada temples, the most commonly accepted name of Buddhism's oldest existing school. Buddhism from ancient times to the present day. The origin of the different Buddhist branches. Read about the purely of present-day Buddhist schools: Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana.
The route and scenery are vast agricultural farms, and your hands will be sore from waving at locals as kids run to the paths, smile, laugh, and say hello! Up to now, Khmer people is still doing agriculture on farms with traditional style. Stop for a well-earned lunch in Cau Ke town, get back on the bike, and ride to the next village with 30 minutes transfer. We’ll regroup, then continue riding along scenic tracks and crossing the small rivers by little ferries to Can Tho City, where all will undoubtedly welcome some cool refreshments! Take a rest on transfer to Can Tho City.

Can Tho - Long Xuyen - Chau Doc

Have breakfast, check out the hotel, and get an early start by motorized boat to check out the biggest floating market in the Mekong Delta. You will have the opportunity to watch all the happenings and activities associated with this big wholesale market on the river. From boat to boat, boats of every size can be seen coming and going, buying and selling seasonal fruits, and just about anything you can imagine. I could tell you it’s really big, but let your eyes be the judge! Then we’ll disembark for a morning ride through the locality of Phong Dien and Thoi Lai. Explore the river network and lively villages along waterways, with many stops at numerous farms and tiny markets.
We’ll share a delicious lunch and transfer 2.5 hours to Chau Phu Dist for the afternoon biking to Sam Mountain, Chau Doc. From Chau Phu, we 20 km cycle through vast rice paddy fields, tiny hamlets, and colourful Vietnamese pagodas with a giant buddha statue, continue pedalling along man-made canals, pass thatched shelters, palm trees, and raised farms. It's good timing to enjoy cycling and viewing the verdant countryside and views the Sam mountain scenery. Finally, transfer to Chau Doc town.

You will have an early start from the hotel for Cambodia today. After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel and say goodbye to the Vietnamese team. Then, at 7:00 AM, board the speedboat from Chau Doc to Cambodia, continuing your adventure along the Mekong River into a new chapter of discovery. A local guide will accompany you on the whole trip to help you with your visa application at Kaamsamnor border gate. A four-hour boat ride is a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery and local life on the water on the Mekong River from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh city. Packed lunch is on board. End of tour!
