See Hue's Charm Villages and Royal Tombs
35km
Our biking guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hue, then briefly transfer to the cycling point, near the Railway station of Hue, we will enjoy this charming city's peaceful, leafy backstreets, cycling out to explore the countryside around Hue. We first visit the Ho Quyen arena, where the emperor presided over duels between tigers and elephants. Continuing to the 19th-century Nguyen Tomb of Tu Duc, we will enjoy the beautiful complex of ornate temples, pavilions, and tombs built beside a picturesque lake. After visiting the incense-making village, we gear up for a gentle ascent of Vong Canh Hill, the old military bunker, which rewards us with spectacular views. It is a great place to look over the Perfume River and the surrounding countryside from the pine forest atop the hill. We then take a boat ride on the Perfume River, visiting the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, home to the oldest monastery in the city, whose 21m high tower has become something of a symbol for Hue.

3:
Lang Co - Da Nang - Hoi An
75km
After breakfast, we'll warm up to challenge the big mountainous pass. Hai Van Pass is not really long pass, but the route is scenic, and it curls around a mountainous spur above the East Sea on the central coast. The pass is a stunning stretch of highway that winds through the Truong Son mountain range. It is 500 m above sea level, and the up/down slope ranges from 5-10%; there will be plenty of breaks along the way to take in the views and snap some photos. At the top, we can see many old military bunkers, radio stations, and traditional gates. Capture plenty of pictures before we ride down the pass southwards along the coast to Da Nang. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon's ride is on the flat coastal roads to Marble Mountain, where we hike up the hills to discover many natural caves in which Buddhist sanctuaries have been built over the centuries. Afterwards, we'll continue cycling to Hoi An, an ancient town in the late afternoon.
