Embark on an unforgettable cycling adventure from Hue—the historic imperial capital of Vietnam—to vibrant Saigon, the dynamic heart of the South. Throughout this extraordinary journey, you’ll discover the enchanting charm of Hoi An Ancient Town and ride along Vietnam’s breathtaking coastal backroads, passing through the picturesque regions of Quang Ngai, Quy Nhon, and Nha Trang.

Pedal through a stunning tapestry of landscapes—from lush mountains and rolling hills to pristine beaches and serene forests—before ascending into the cool, scenic Central Highlands of Dalat. From there, enjoy a convenient flight to Saigon, where your journey concludes in a city full of energy and culture. This immersive cycling holiday offers not only spectacular scenery but also a captivating glimpse into Vietnam’s rich heritage, from the timeless elegance of Hue and Hoi An to the modern vibrancy of Saigon.

Begin with a guided walking tour through the heart of the city’s heritage quarter, discovering the historic Hien Nhan Gate and the majestic Forbidden Citadel — the centerpiece of the city’s cultural and historical legacy. After exploring the citadel, board a shuttle for a scenic journey along the banks of the Perfume River to the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, a 17th-century riverside temple renowned for its timeless beauty and spiritual significance. Continue to the elegant An Hien Garden House, a beautifully preserved traditional residence and temple dating back to 1895, surrounded by tranquil landscaped gardens.

From here, we pick up our bikes and cross the Perfume River into the charming countryside, with regular stops to visit local family workshops and experience traditional crafts. Pedal through lush riverside landscapes toward the historic Vong Canh Hills, then continue to the ornate Khai Dinh Tomb before savoring a delicious lunch at one of Hue’s renowned restaurants.

Following lunch, we cycle alongside the scenic Trach River. After crossing the river, continue riding past the Nguyen Anh Tomb before ending today’s ride at Minh Mang Tomb. This UNESCO World Heritage-listed mausoleum, constructed in 1840, beautifully blends strict Confucian principles with the surrounding natural landscape. After the visit, we return to Hue by support vehicle.

Here, we relax with a Vietnamese coffee and prepare for the legendary Hai Van Pass — the “Ocean Cloud Pass.” The climb to the summit covers about 12 km of winding mountain road, now with lighter traffic thanks to the vehicle tunnels below.
