The Best Ha Noi Southern Cycling Holiday offers breathtaking mountainous landscapes, unspoiled natural beauty, and authentic tribal cultural immersion, along with the chance to learn more about local flora and fauna. Explore the picturesque Mai Chau Valley, home to rolling hills and vibrant hill-tribe communities. Discover the stunning terraced rice fields, dramatic mountain passes, and charming ethnic minority villages in Pu Luong.

Cycling through Cuc Phương National Park—a lush subtropical lowland forest—shelters rare inhabitants such as the elusive clouded leopard and the Asian black bear. Take a rowed boat cruise through the natural beauty of Tam Coc, often called “Ha Long Bay on land,” which is renowned for its serene winding rivers, majestic limestone karsts, and mysterious water caves nestled between emerald rice fields.

Depart from Ha Noi at 7:30 AM for a comfortable, scenic two-hour transfer to the peaceful rural outskirts of Lương Sơn. Your first day’s ride begins along quiet country paths, winding through rustic, unspoiled countryside toward Cao Ram village, where impressive karst limestone mountains rise dramatically above lush green rice paddies. Pedal onward along the mountains, through verdant valleys adorned with layered rice terraces, creating a truly picturesque landscape.

We cross the gentle Bôi River and continue along rolling rural farmlands, descending into wide, tranquil valleys that stretch toward Bo township, where a well-deserved, relaxing lunch break awaits after approximately 30 km of cycling.

After lunch, enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour transfer to Thung Khe Pass, renowned for its breathtaking panoramic mountain views. From here, ride along a quiet, lesser-traveled road through spectacular mountain forests, tackling a few gentle yet rewarding hills en route to Noong Luong. Finally, leave the main road behind and cycle a few kilometers on narrow, adventurous single tracks to Ban Lac village, home to the welcoming White Thai ethnic community, known for their charming traditional stilt houses.

After breakfast, we say goodbye to the host, ride from the homestay, travel through Ban Lac, follow the well-maintained paths, and enjoy local work on farms lush green of the valleys to Poom Coong, and Lac villages: pass by kindergarten and primary schools along the way. We stop at Ban Lac, a new destination and an excellent place for a beaten-path experience cycling, and immerse in the traditional cultures and modern lifestyle of a tribal community.

Then we turn onto the dirt tracks, pass remote villages along Ma River to Road 15, and ride to Phu Thanh—lunch en route to Pu Luong. We challenge some hills on the winding road to Pu Luong, through forested jungles, encounter breathtaking views, and enjoy the spectacular mountains, sometimes lush rice-terraced paddies along sleepy rivers.
