Biking Mekong Delta Saigon to Ha Tien

Anyone had been to Can Tho and had seen a busy floating market and will never forget it! This market is one of the noisy and most dynamic in the Delta region. We do check out after breakfast for a boat ride taking you there. Then we cycle through Phong Dien rural Dist. A rural area crisscrosses with incredible natural creeks and waterways that meander through stunning countryside and new township. Enjoyable time to ride a bicycle when the weather is still more relaxed, see kids swimming on the Mekong River as people washing their clothes on the river.  We will stop for lunch in the town of Thoi Lai. After lunch, we will have a transfer to Chau Phu Dist, and your guide will choose the best route so that you could experience farmers on back roads to Chau Doc.
 

Before we enjoy the beautiful ride to Ha Tien, we'll visit a Cham village and floating village by boat; see how locals are raising catfish at their owned farms as this floating village in action. See parents take kids to school by sampan boat, and small motorboat moving from different directions with a loudspeaker to advertise something for breakfast. Later private vehicle takes you outskirt of Chau Doc, and your last ride starts then. Ride on the path to Tra Su nature reserve forest. It is also a bird sanctuary. This immense 800,000-hectare forest is home to an astounding number of wading birds. Tra Su forest had attracted many birds, including storks, egrets, cormorants, peafowl, and water cocks. Then we continue cycling gentle hilly country back road through Khmer villages; ride past thatch houses, palm tree, mango gardens, and tapioca farmland. Stop for a short break at Ba Chuc memorial before transferring to Ha Tien in the late afternoon. Our guide and driver will be back to Saigon with the emptied vehicle.
