Vietnam Central Coast Cycling Tour

In the early morning, we’ll set off on a scenic one-hour transfer to the charming coastal town of Van Gia. From here, your ride begins along the stunning shoreline, passing salt fields as you pick up pace. The route features gentle ascents, sections alongside the railway, and quiet back roads leading to the winding Co Ma Pass. After a rewarding descent, we’ll arrive in the tranquil town of Dai Lanh for a well-deserved and delicious lunch by the beach.

In the afternoon, the journey continues riding down the coast of Vung Ro, pedal through picturesque landscapes, passing expansive shrimp farms and vast, lush rice paddies—some of the largest in central Vietnam—before heading onward to the peaceful province of Phu Yen.

After a leisurely and refreshing breakfast, we set out directly from the hotel, easing into a gentle ride along picturesque coastal roads. The journey unfolds through serene farmlands as we cycle toward a charming seaside fishing village, where daily life drifts at an unhurried pace.

Along the way, a tapestry of ever-changing landscapes accompanies us—quaint hamlets, emerald rice paddies, and sprawling aquaculture farms shimmering under the sun. We pause for memorable photo opportunities at the striking Da Dia Reef, renowned for its unique basalt rock formations, before continuing our ride through a string of intimate fishing communities.

The route leads us across a tranquil river via a remarkable 1-kilometer-long wooden bridge—an experience in itself—before reaching the main road. Here, our comfortable shuttle awaits to whisk us onward to the vibrant coastal city of Quy Nhon, where the day’s adventure concludes.

From here, we follow a narrow, gently winding paved path through picturesque wetland villages, pedaling along peaceful country lanes and intimate trails that weave across lush green farmlands and emerald rice paddies, leading us to Con Chim (Bird Islet)—a tranquil, unspoiled ecological haven.

Along the way, we pass through charming, time-honored fishing villages, observe traditional, centuries-old fish farming practices, and experience the vibrant, colorful atmosphere of local markets. As we reach Cat Tien, the journey transitions onto winding, scenic coastal backroads with sweeping, panoramic ocean views. Our ride continues to De Nghi, a delightful, laid-back seaside stop where you’ll savor a fresh, flavorful seafood lunch.

Afterward, we cross the modern, elegant De Nghi Bridge and follow tranquil, meandering countryside lanes along a serene freshwater bay, passing through idyllic, postcard-perfect landscapes on our way to My Tho. The adventure concludes at the peaceful, mirror-like Tra O Lagoon, where you can unwind and soak in the serene, unhurried surroundings before boarding a comfortable 2.5-hour shuttle transfer to Quang Ngai.

The morning begins with a poignant and meaningful visit to My Lai, a historic site known for the tragic loss of innocent lives during the 1968 Vietnam War. Conclude your adventure with a scenic riverside ride along the Thu Bon River, followed by a comfortable shuttle transfer into the enchanting town of Hoi An.

To avoid busy coastal traffic, we begin with a comfortable shuttle transfer to Da Nang. From here, your cycling adventure truly unfolds as we tackle the legendary Hai Van Pass—one of Vietnam’s most iconic mountain roads. The climb ascends gradually to approximately 480 meters, weaving through dramatic switchbacks and unveiling spectacular vistas of lush mountains and the shimmering East Sea.

At the summit, take in what is widely regarded as one of the most breathtaking panoramas in Central Vietnam—a perfect reward for your efforts. From here, enjoy an exhilarating, smooth descent down the mountain, rolling all the way to a well-deserved lunch stop.

In the afternoon, continue pedaling along scenic coastal roads toward Thuan An Beach, where tranquil seaside landscapes accompany your ride. The journey concludes in Hue, the historic former capital of the Nguyen Dynasty, rich in culture, heritage, and timeless charm.

Begin your final day exploring the majestic Hue Imperial City, then board a private, scenic boat cruise along the fragrant Perfume River, arriving at the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda. This elegant, seven-story pagoda stands as one of Vietnam’s most sacred religious landmarks and a timeless symbol of Hue.

From the pagoda, set off on a leisurely cross-river ride, then pedal along picturesque riverside paths to the historic Tiger Arena. Continue cycling through peaceful countryside trails, passing charming old villages, ancient pagodas, and traditional mandarin houses, with endless photo opportunities along the way. Resume your journey along the tranquil Ta Trach River, weaving through lush orchards and verdant landscapes to reach the serene Gia Long Mausoleum. Conclude the ride with  before returning to your hotel for a well-deserved rest ahead of your farewell dinner.
