Cai Be, Mekong Delta is one of the day's trips destinations. Explore lush green farmlands, pedal along the villages, enjoy ferry crossings the rivers, pass tiny Cai Be floating market, and visit local businesses. A day trip allows you to experience Mekong vibrant countryside as much as you can fit into a day without rushing. Lush orchards, fertile soil farmland and all sorts of boats on the waterways of Cai Be are all sights that you can touch and smell directly from locals at their home. This is a chance you ride to explore many islands and having many ferries that taking you to Cai Be town.

After you are met and pick at hotel, an hour and half drives you to rural village of My Tho to start the ride. Before the group leaving HCM city, our mechanic and truck with all bikes had leaved HCM and heading to location, in My Tho where we start the ride.

We start cycling from Tam Binh market, it located by Mekong River. We catch a local ferry to cross river to Ngu Hiep Island. Our bike guide will lead you the ways to explore local life on the island. Ride through durian, longan and grapefruit orchards, passing local markets and small villages along the way second ferry that will taking us to Tan Phong Island. By waiting for the ferry, our team will serve you cold water and soft drinks. Tan Phong Island is quiet, lush green islands with variety of fruits and orchards. Take a publish ferry to Cai Be township, view the lively waterway , and admire the old catholic churchthen ride to Ba Kiet ancient House, your bike guide will talk about the former landlord house, and it's traditional culture and history. Have a delicious local lunch booked by the host.

After lunch, we hop on the support vehicleto return to Saigon in the late afternoon.

Mekong Delta Day Tour

What a fantastic day! Our guide was amazing experience not only was his knowledgeable + experience with the area by his sense at humor kept us laughing all day. The bikes were a great as we have dance a few cycles around Vietnam. We all felt very safe on our bikes. It far accepted our expectation. It was fun, interesting, and informative. The countryside was beautiful + insight into local life a treat away far tourist hubs. This was definitely the off the beaten track tour we were rocking. What a fantastic day to spend our last day in Vietnam. Would highly recommend this tour above all other cycles we have done here. 7 July 2018
