Be warmly welcomed at 8:00 AM by our cycling team and support crew. We begin with a scenic 1.5-hour transfer to the rural village of Thanh Liem in Ninh Binh, where today's cycling adventure starts.
Our ride takes us through picturesque countryside, charming villages, and peaceful riverside landscapes, offering wonderful opportunities to experience authentic rural life. Along the way, we'll stop to admire and photograph beautiful pagodas, historic churches, and traditional local scenes. The route meanders through lush rice paddies, and along quiet country lanes, before reaching the edge of river. After a short ferry crossing, we continue cycling to another ferry, cross different river Hoa Lu. It's Vietnam's ancient capital, which flourished between 968 and 1009 and remains one of the country's most important historical and cultural landmarks.
Following our visit to Hoa Lu, we enjoy a relaxing lunch before a support transfer to Tam Coc. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to refresh.
In the afternoon, embark on a memorable sampan boat journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Tam Coc. Glide gently along winding waterways bordered by vibrant rice fields, towering limestone karsts, and a series of fascinating natural caves. This tranquil excursion offers an unforgettable opportunity to immerse yourself in the region's spectacular scenery.
After the boat trip, we pick up our bikes for the 10 km to exploring the hidden gems of Tam Coc. Pedal through a stunning landscape of dramatic limestone peaks, emerald-green rice fields, and peaceful rural villages. The day concludes with a visit to the serene Bich Dong Pagoda, beautifully nestled into the countryside and renowned for its spiritual atmosphere and magnificent setting. Return to the hotel by support vehicle, and this evening is free.
