Explore Central Highlands & Southern Coast
The Cat Tien archaeological site lies between two sectors of it's Park, in the southern Central Highlands of Vietnam. Discovered accidentally in 1985, the site has sparked ongoing debate among historians regarding its origins. It is believed to have been inhabited by a highly Indianized civilization between the 4th and 9th centuries AD. Notably, Hill Temple 1A features the largest stone lingam ever discovered in Southeast Asia.
Pongour Waterfall, located in Duc Trong District near DA LAt, is one of Vietnam’s most spectacular terraced waterfalls. Standing approximately 40 meters high and stretching about 100 meters wide, it is renowned for its romantic landscape set among valleys, lakes, springs, and pine-covered hills. The surrounding area includes around 25,000 square meters of diverse primeval forest, seven cascading rock terraces, and lush green gardens, making it a popular destination for daily sightseeing.
The colorful sand dunes of Mui Ne, near Phan Thiet, are among the region’s most captivating natural attractions. Featuring striking white, yellow, and red sands, these dunes are shaped by the dynamic forces of wind and sunlight. Their ever-changing forms have long inspired artistic photography, paintings, and traditional embroidery, many of which are sold throughout Vietnam.
