Embark on fabulous southern cycling adventure from the fertile plains of the Mekong Delta to the untamed wilderness of Nam Cat Tien National Park. This immersive 5-day journey combines scenic cycling, rich cultural encounters, and extraordinary natural discoveries—perfect for travelers seeking both authentic experiences and active exploration.

Pedal through emerald rice paddies, colorful fruit orchards, and peaceful riverside villages where daily life flows gently along the waterways. The Mekong Delta reveals a vibrant mosaic of floating culture, local traditions, and lush tropical landscapes, offering countless moments to connect with the heart of southern Vietnam.

Leaving the delta behind, venture deep into one of Vietnam’s most biodiverse rainforests. Nam Cat Tien National Park invites you into a world of towering ancient trees, hidden jungle trails, and remarkable wildlife. Cycle beneath dense forest canopies, listen to the calls of gibbons echoing through the morning mist, and keep watch for deer, exotic birds, and other rare species along the way. Complete your adventure with a visit to the tranquil Crocodile Lake, a pristine wetland sanctuary nestled in the heart of the jungle.

Your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel this morning before leaving the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City behind on a scenic one-hour transfer to Ben Luc, the gateway to the enchanting Mekong Delta. From here, we begin cycling along peaceful backroads that wind through lush rice paddies, tropical fruit orchards, and charming rural villages on the way to My Tho.

This immersive ride offers a wonderful glimpse into authentic Delta life as we pedal deep into local communities rarely visited by tourists. Along the route, enjoy encounters with friendly villagers, cross narrow canals and rivers by local ferry, and pause to admire colorful Buddhist temples nestled among the countryside. The scenery is wonderfully diverse, featuring emerald rice fields, watermelon farms, dragon fruit plantations, and tranquil waterways lined with coconut palms.

After a rewarding morning ride, enjoy a delicious lunch in My Tho before visiting the beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the Mekong Delta’s most famous temples, known for its elegant architecture and peaceful gardens.

In the afternoon, transfer deeper into the Delta to the quiet orchard region of Cho Lach. Check in to your charming homestay surrounded by tropical fruit gardens, then relax with a refreshing swim and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Mekong countryside for the remainder of the day.

After a hearty breakfast, we board a motorized boat to visit the floating market—one of the most bustling markets in the Mekong Delta region. Early in the morning, most villagers arrive by sampan boats filled with fresh fruits and vegetables. Here at the floating market, locals exchange goods from larger wholesale boats to smaller vessels, creating a vibrant and picturesque scene. Your boat will move slowly for a closer view, allowing you to capture the market in action.

Afterward, we disembark and continue the final day of your Mekong adventure. We cycle through the countryside and backwaters of Phong Dien and Binh Thuy rural districts. Along the way, we visit one of the oldest ancient houses in the region. This historic residence belonged to a Mandarin landlord in the 19th century and has been designated a national relic by the Ministry of Culture. Built in 1870, the house features a unique blend of Asian and European architectural styles—the exterior reflects French influence, while the interior remains distinctly traditional Vietnamese.

After lunch in Can Tho, we transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
