Embark on an unforgettable 4 day/3 night cycling adventure from Ho Chi Minh City to the stunning coastline of Nha Trang. This exhilarating journey showcases the diverse beauty of southern Vietnam, from lush tropical forests and rolling highlands to dramatic mountain passes and breathtaking coastal roads.

Ride through the peaceful countryside to Cat Tien National Park, one of Vietnam’s richest natural reserves, before climbing into the scenic Central Highlands toward the charming mountain city of Da Lat. Pedal past coffee plantations, pine forests, and ethnic minority villages while enjoying cool mountain air and rewarding descents.

Continue downhill to the sunny coastal plains of Phan Rang–Thap Cham, cycling along quiet backroads lined with vineyards, rice paddies, and rustic fishing villages. Conclude your adventure with a spectacular coastal ride from Cam Ranh to Nha Trang, following scenic seaside roads with turquoise waters, sandy beaches, and panoramic ocean views.

We should depart from the hotel at 7:00 a.m. to avoid traffic congestion. Leaving Ho Chi Minh City early also gives us perfect weather to enjoy the stunning scenery. After a 1.5-hour drive to Bien Hoa, we begin cycling on a mix of paved roads and rural paths. The route takes us along Tri An Lake, through rubber and teak plantations, as well as tapioca fields, passing small countryside villages along the way. This morning ride is about 30 km and offers a wonderful glimpse into local daily life.

Following lunch at La Nga, we transfer for about one hour to the Ta Lai market, where we continue exploring the Ta Lai ethnic minority village, before we bike through the southern largest park. We visit traditional longhouses of ethnic communities and continue cycling along scenic trails through Ta Lai’s rice paddies and sometimes along the Dong Nai River. We’ll have a chance to immerse ourselves in cycling through the park, see the flora ecosystem, capture photos of giant trees, listen to birdsong, and enjoy the fresh air of the tropical forest as we ride toward the park headquarters.

After breakfast at the hotel, we take a boat ride along the Dong Nai River to Dao Tien (Monkey Island), home to the Dao Tien Endangered Primate Species Center. Here, you can observe various primates living in a semi-wild environment. Many of these animals were rescued from illegal wildlife trade and are now carefully protected and rehabilitated in the forest.

We then return to the hotel for check-out and begin the day on jungle trails toward the north of the park. We ride along dirt tracks through the sub–Nam Cat Tien forest via Dak Lua, cornfields, and rice paddies. Along the way, stopping at giant trees- Cay Si, the area is rich in biodiversity with semi-evergreen forests and wetland ecosystems. From Dak Lua, we’ll ride further to the Thanh Dia Cat Tien- an archaeological site. The rest of the day is to savor lunch and enjoy a scenic drive to Dalat in the afternoon.

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll travel by shuttle on a scenic one-hour drive to the historic tunnels of the old railway. This remarkable feat of colonial engineering, built by the French, once connected the sun-drenched coastal plains of Ninh Thuan Province to the cool mountain retreat of Da Lat in the Central Highlands. The railway famously featured a unique Swiss-designed rack-and-pinion (cog) system.

After the visit, we’ll pick up our bikes and enjoy a gently undulating ride on paved roads through fragrant pine forests, picturesque valleys, and charming ethnic minority villages. Along the way, we’ll visit the fascinating Tea Museum, sample fresh local tea, and continue descending along a winding mountain road to D’ran.

Then, we’ll enjoy another exhilarating downhill ride toward the dramatic Ngoan Muc Pass before turning onto quiet backroads and narrow village paths. We’ll cruise through scenic countryside dotted with emerald rice paddies and rustic rural villages.

We conclude the day on the outskirts of Phan Rang before a short transfer into the city center, with a stop at the ancient and atmospheric Panduranga Temples — locally known as Thap Cham Phan Rang.
