Embark on a 4-day, 3-night cycling journey from Saigon to Nha Trang. Discover the rich biodiversity of Cat Tien National Park, ride through the rolling landscapes of the Central Highlands, and challenge yourself on scenic mountain passes. Conclude your adventure with a breathtaking coastal ride along quiet backroads from Cam Ranh to Nha Trang.

We should depart from the hotel at 7:00 a.m. to avoid traffic congestion. Leaving Ho Chi Minh City early also gives us perfect weather to enjoy the stunning scenery.

After a 1.5-hour drive to Bien Hoa, we begin cycling on a mix of paved roads and rural paths. The route takes us along Tri An Lake, through rubber and teak plantations, as well as tapioca fields, passing small countryside villages along the way. This morning ride is about 30 km and offers a wonderful glimpse into local daily life.

Following lunch at La Nga, we transfer for about one hour to Ta Lai Village. From there, we pick up our bikes, cross the river, and meet local villagers. We visit traditional longhouses of ethnic communities and continue cycling along scenic trails through Ta Lai’s rice paddies and along the Dong Nai River.

Along the way, we’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture photos of giant trees, listen to birdsong, and enjoy the fresh air of the tropical forest as we ride toward the park headquarters.

After breakfast at the hotel, we take a boat ride along the Dong Nai River to Dao Tien (Monkey Island), home to the Dao Tien Endangered Primate Species Center. Here, you can observe various primates living in a semi-wild environment. Many of these animals were rescued from illegal wildlife trade and are now carefully protected and rehabilitated in the forest.

We then return to the hotel for check-out before continuing our cycling adventure. Leaving the park, we ride along dirt tracks through sub–Nam Cat Tien forest via Dak Lua, an area rich in biodiversity with semi-evergreen forests and wetland ecosystems.

The day continues to the rural village of Ma Da Gui, where we pause for a transfer to the next town for a late lunch. Afterward, we relax in our vehicle as we drive to Da Lat in the late afternoon.

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin with a short transfer to a rural village, stopping at Linh Phuoc Pagoda for a brief visit before setting off on today’s memorable ride. We cycle along quiet country back roads, passing greenhouses and flower gardens, and riding through fragrant pine forests. Along the way, we take in views of an old railway tunnel built by the French during the Indochina period, nestled among scenic valleys.

We continue past local farms growing persimmons, strawberries, and other produce, tackling a series of gentle hills before reaching Da Nhim Lake, home to a hydroelectric power station. Throughout the ride, you’ll enjoy the stunning natural beauty of Vietnam’s Central Highlands.

Lunch is served in a small town, after which we gear up for an exhilarating ride through impressive mountain ranges. The challenge is rewarded with a beautiful descent as we ride down Ngoan Muc Pass, followed by a scenic journey through small villages and onto quieter rural routes.

The landscape gradually changes as we cycle through grapefruit plantations, rice paddies, farming villages, and local workshops producing grape wine. We then visit one of the Cham Towers (Thap Cham), a remarkable relic of the ancient Champa Kingdom dating back to the 11th century. The Cham people are renowned for their distinctive brick sanctuaries, many of which still stand across southern Vietnam.

A short transfer takes us to our hotel by the sea in Phan Rang, a coastal town known for its Cham heritage and the beautiful Ninh Chu Beach, where we will stay overnight.
